A Psychologist Explains How the Baby Boomer Generation is Redefinging Aging for Women

I’ve had the privilege over the past few months of collaborating with Dr. Diane Sanford, a clinical psychologist in St. Louis, Mo who specializes in women’s health issues. She interviewed me for an article entitled, “A Psychologist Explains How the Baby Boomer Generation is Redefining Aging for Women,” which was published in The Good Trade this month. One of Diane’s goals is empowering women at all stages of their lives. I love that mission as I feel the same way about the underlying focus of Be Brave. Lose the Beige–women’s empowerment.

I hope you will check out her article.  Here is a quote from the article to give you a little preview:

“To this day, I remember the ad for Enjoli perfume where a professionally clad woman is in the kitchen fixing dinner in an apron. The tagline was, ‘She can bring home the bacon. Fry it up in the pan, and never let him forget he’s a man. “Cause she’s a woman. Enjoli”.

I actually referenced this ad in my book.

Since Diane is a psychologist the article is packed with tips for re-defining aging, such as:  Practice active aging, prioritize your mental health, exercise your creativity, stay in the moment, and leave the world a better place.

 Hope you enjoy!
